The recommended material for drain runners is Metpump HP4, Metpump C180T, C180T+10 or ASP85 depending upon the variables of the furnace.
CASTHOUSE REFRACTORIES
| Entire runner systems can be rebuilt for fast turnaround
on major furnaces by lining steel boxes at Magneco/Metrel’s facility and lowering the
pre-formed and lined box into place on the casthouse, as shown in the accompanying
