Magneco/Metrel has developed products that can withstand very corrosive environments. Low cement and conventional cement products are aggressively attacked by acid environments and may be destroyed in a matter of days, even at low temperatures when exposed to hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. Magneco/Metrel no cement castables with chemistries ranging from high silica to high alumina have been developed with outstanding resistance to acid attack.
