Metpump FA-SF is a proprietary, cement free, high alumina, insulating pumpable material that is supplied as a two part system, including a liquid colloidal silica (sol-gel) binder. Metpump FA-SF exhibits high cold and hot strengths, excellent volume stability and minimal dry out time, which decreases downtime. The sol-gel binder system provides excellent fluidity and self leveling characteristics, which allows easy placement by pumping or pouring. The easy flowing characteristics of Metpump FA-SF are achieved without dilution by excess binder liquid, which maintains material design properties, yet permits complete filling of even complex labyrinths even in confined annular spaces, without the need for vibration. |
